This hitch opens up a lot of possibilities without overcomplicating things. With a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs and a tongue weight limit of 350 lbs (4,000 lbs and 400 lbs when used with weight distribution), it’s built for light towing, small trailers, and everyday hauling. The 2" x 2" receiver works with the most common hitch-mounted accessories like bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts, so you can hook up what you need without hunting for adapters.
The fully welded steel construction gives this hitch serious backbone for towing and accessory use. It’s finished with a gloss black powder coat over a rust-resistant liquid A-coat inside and out. That dual-layer protection holds up against road salt, moisture, and debris, so it stays looking good and strong after years of use.
Installation doesn’t have to be a project. This hitch bolts straight to the frame using existing holes—no welding or cutting required. The complete hardware kit and instructions are in the box, so you can mount it with basic tools in your driveway instead of needing a lift. The precise, robotic welds ensure everything lines up just right for an easy fit that looks like it belongs there.
An open-back design makes it simple to keep the receiver clear of dirt and buildup. Whether you're switching between bike racks, towing gear, or a ball mount, you can slide in your accessories without fighting corrosion or packed debris in the tube. It’s a small detail that keeps your setup working smoothly every time you use it.

Hitch is awesome, looks good and easy to install but……..
The part you have to take off before you install the hitch was needless to say ridiculous. They must have used 1/2 gallon of red lock tight and a air impact wrench because geez…
A quality trailer hitch from Curt and eTrailer.com. Easy to install on my '23 Ford Bronco
Very durable, easy install. My wife (her Bronco) did the install and I helped (she didn't know how to use a torque wrench). Task was complete in under fifteen minutes. Over fifty percent savings compared to buying from Ford.
Easy 5 min install
fast delivery, super great product and easy to install
This hitch had the usual Curt quality, fit and finish. Hardest part of the installation on my '25 Bronco Badlands was getting the metal cover off that Ford installed to protect the electrical plug for the trailer lights. Other than that the installation was super easy.
Easy install. Great product
Relatively straightforward install. I had to loosen my bumper to remove a factory bracket first. The hitch installed with 4 bolts. It called for torquing to 110 which is no joke, you will need a beefy torque wrench for that.
Works as described.. I’m able to pull my boat now with my 2022 bronco black diamond
Easiest part I've ever put on any vehic le
High-quality construction, attractive welding and heavy powder coat are part of this products build. Hardware is coated and fit and finish was perfect.
Easy once you get around Ford’s bolts and bumper.
Just fine!
The instructions aren’t quite right for a 2025 Badlands. You need to remove the bumper and that means removing electrical connections on each side, removing the bolts at the tow points - 2x 18mm each side plus the plastic thing, and one each side 13mm. Then remove and dispose of the electrics metal cover. Easy once you know which ones.
Heavy duty and easy to install!
When i red the instructions saying i would have to remove the rear bumper, i was like ..... but i did the whole job in 10-15 minutes. really. it looks OEM, and even had a spot for me to attach the trailer tow wiring harness. The 4 bolts look burly and I have every confidence this will move my big trailer around the yard. thanks!
Easy to install and looks good if using for trailering. Not sure how it would work with other accessories that need to be behind spare tire. But definitely perfect if you are worried about hitting knees when loading back.
Super easy install (like 5-10 minutes) and very high quality. I did not torque to the recommended value because the frame is boxed and it did not appear to have sleeves, but all I will be doing with the hitch is hauling bikes and using a Twistep dog loading device.
I was very happy with the prompt shipping and the tow hitch was a perfect fit. Im very happy.
Easy installation with the video tutori al.
Solid hitch, well made with not a scratch or machining mark on it (seems like it has a thick and very durable coat of paint on it as well). Installation on a '25 Bronco Badlands was fairly straight forward and followed the enclosed instructions. I will note that I did not have to disconnect the two electrical connectors (per the instructions) as I was able to pull the rear bumper just far enough away from the frame so that I could access the bolts on Ford's steel box that protects the wiring harness and then bolt on the Hitch. Also, the Hitch slips over the frame member without any slop, so no need to shim up with washers (like some other hitches apparently need). It took me about an hour working alone but someone else could probably get it done in half that time.
Hitch receiver bolted up as advertised. I did need to pop off the wiring cable clips as not to pinch them with the bolts. I re-attached them when I finished torquing the bolts. Looks well made and quite substantial. Recommended to my son for his Jeep….
Perfect fit. Easy to install. Followed the video on YouTube.

That is great to hear! I am glad it was a simple install and we had a video to help. What are you planning on using the hitch for?
The receiver showed up on time and packaged well. Mounted it on our Bronco to haul bikes and works well.
The Curt Receiver Hitch was excellent. Appears well made, and I really like the shorter extension, that tucks in under bumper nicely, for better appearance and no shin contusions.
The shortfall are the etrailer video installation instructions. I was installing on a brand new 2026 Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch package. I followed the etrailer video for the 2026 Bronco that looked extremely easy to remove the SAE wire connector shield without removing the bumper. The video showed removing two bolts from each side of bumper, that allowed the bottom of the bumper to be rotated up to allow access the the shield bolts, and shield. The actual process I had to use to get the rotate up in that fashion was much more extensive than portrayed. I had to remove an additional 6 bolts along the bottom of the bumper, and loosen about another 6 bolts along the top of the bumper (with tight access), to enable it to rotate up. Afterwards, I wondered if it would have been easier to remove the whole bumper, as the Curt instructions indicated. However, I wondered if that process was also more difficult than depicted. At the end of the day, after several hours, I did finally complete, and it looks great. Just wish there were more accurate/thorough installation instructions/videos provided by etrailer.

Fit and finish is still intact and the passivated zinc fasteners are holding up...no complaints whatsoever! I do believe other companies have come up with similar solutions, and similar products can be found that are less expensive...but some of them require removal of the rear bumper this product does not.
